Halloween 2001, etc

It's a great time of year for lots of pictures!!!

I finally figured out French-braiding. Haylee even let me get some finished in her hair.
This would have been my 2nd time ever and I definitely have some improving to do, but it's fun to have this new challenge.

Fairfield Ward Chili cook-off and Trunk-or-Treat 2011.

Ever year we go to Brown Family Farm in Ross. While it may not have some of the extra fun things that other farms have, it's close to home, laid back, never crowded and the kids look forward to it every year.

Wonder what Haylee's favorite part was?

I'm certain it wasn't the farm animals ;)

Corn Maze!

My sweet Haylee.

Livers.

Carter Man and the rest of the gang getting measured.

Halloween Nigh 2011! Finally all ready to head out trick or treating. That was stressful getting them home from school, finish homework, dinner and ready for trick or treating within two hours.

Carter's dragon costume was fun to make.

Olivia's costume was definitely a favorite though.

Luckily when you get to your 3rd child, you can usually just dig through the dress-up bin to find some costume that will work. I loved this one for Haylee. My little ballerina.

The Loot (that Olivia had to count and do some math with it to finish up her homework).

This year Carter and Olivia wanted to trick-or treat all two hours. I was EXHAUSTED when we got home and so was Carter!

Our BIG pile of leaves that wasn't so big after the kids played in them for nearly two hours and got them crunched up really good.

I love that our city comes by to vacuum them all up (although I wish they could do it on a weekly basis :).

Haylee with her apple to keep her from running off while I was trying to complete the raking task.

My kids had a blast playing in those things.

Earlier this month, Olivia had her (end of the season) cheer part at Pump-It-Up. I wasn't exactly excited to go, but glad we did as the kids had a blast.

This was a definite highlight.

Carter claimed that his side of the rock was more difficult to climb. hmmmm....

I don't know about that Carter.

The party gang with their silly faces. And crazy clothes as there was a black light on in one of the party rooms.

This may have been the highlight of the season for Olivia. Olivia had been wating a trophy for some years now and so it was such a great surprise to her when she was handed the trophy.

On the way home she asked where she could put it and I told her anywhere because it was hers. She then informed me that she would like a tropy case to put it in. ha!

2011 Family pictures

Bari & Louann at Cherryblossom Design Photography took our family pictures back in September. Bari and Louann are friends of ours through church.
Bari went out of his way to make sure he got Carter's good smile (see earlier post from last month)...I won't give away his secrets, but Carter was laughing so hard and Bari was able to get some great shots of Carter. I know I posted a lot of pictures here, but I promise that I didn't even post half of them! Olivia is just so photogenic! Also, I was so torn on getting our family pictures done with Carter's cast on. I decided to just do it because the timing fit into our schedules, the weather was nice that day and let's face it: Carter's cast was part of life at that time. Hence, the big red cast in a few shots! Luckily Bari was good about hiding it in some photos.

Aaaaand this is why I didn't feel the need to order school pictures! I knew Bari & Louann would do a much better job! And they did.
