March & some of April 2014

Picture overload!

This is probably Haylee and Ryan's favorite toy (besides the ipad).  We go through quite a few D batteries to keep it going.

Olivia recently had to do a genealogy report.  She interviewed Grandpa Johnson about our ancestors from Norway.

I've been making the kids frozen go-gurts recently.  It's been great since I started making my own Greek yogurt, strawberry sauce and I even add a little flax seed.  The kids eat them up :)

Big Costco shopping trip!  Can't believe it all fit into one cart!

Last time wearing glasses - on my way to get LASIK eye surgery.  No makeup allowed.

A few hours after surgery.  They burned like crazy and I could hardly open them for several hours.

We went to dinner with some good friends of ours.  Clarissa & Rod Stratton for Rod's birthday.

Olivia and I watching the Women's Conference from my bed.

We had a busy spring break with lots of activities around town.  First was ice skating.  It was the kids' first time and they loved it.  Those red skate trainers make a huge difference.

Aaron put skates on and then took one look at the rink and took them off.  :(

I tried skating with Haylee, but it didn't take long to realize that it wasn't going to work.  Haylee didn't understand how to move her legs at all.

Next up was fossil hunting on this little hill that was FULL of fossils.  The kids loved it!  We met the Hales family there and had a picnic dinner.

Then Aaron and I took the kids on a bike ride to the dam in Hamilton.  On the way we found our first geocache!

At the dam.  It's about six miles from our house.

Trying to show Olivia how to skip rocks

Having a little snack.

Riding back home is so much harder than getting to the dam.

Another Spring Break activity - camp fire with lots of friends!

Aaron with Pat Hoffart and Shane Prince.

The last thing we did for Spring Break was take the kids to eat at Smashburger (tradition) and bowling!

Bowling is something that Haylee seems to really enjoy!  Check out that grin!

Olivia, Carter and I tried finding a few more Geocaches one afternoon.  We are 1 for 5 so far.

Olivia took this series of pictures.  She was trying to get Ryan to give her a kiss through the window on the door.

I made a sock swing/deep pressure swing for Haylee's therapy.  Ryan and her love it!

Haylee doing therapy with Allison.

One of the many data sheets that records her progress on each of her given tasks for therapy.

Over 10 years ago, I quit coloring my hair, but I finally got it colored again a few weeks ago to cover my gray.

Melt/ombre

This crazy girl came to visit us for a week!!!  We got to spend an ENTIRE Saturday shopping and it was so wonderful!

Shellee made me an amazing salad several times while she was here.  Yummo!

Thanks for coming to visit Shellee.  I love you so much!

Olivia took these next few pictures and added zombie faces to them.  She loves doing that with an app on her phone.

The picture is of twin Grandma's that are 100 years old.  The top picture.  Not the bottom one.

Shellee often sends me crazy pictures to cheer me up.

After the Easter egg hunt!

Easter morning!

Dying Easter eggs for the last time with the Anderson's.  (Since the Anderson's are moving.)
