A rocket ship no more

The days when my car would sound like a rocket ship ready for take off (when I pushed in the clutch) are gone! That sound had come to give my car character and anybody that hadn't ridden in my car before had to ask what the sound was. Those of you that have ridden in the green machine several times came to tune it out.
Well, last Saturday, Aaron completed the, what should have been a 2-man job of changing my clutch all by himself!
This picture below was a proud moment when he got the transmission to drop! So, not only is my husband a mechanical engineer, he's also a car mechanic!

Thanks for my nice, QUIET clutch honey!

Olivia even seemed happy to be able to ride in Mommy's car again. But mostly to have her daddy come home from work and not have to go out in the garage to fix Mommy's car.
ps Olivia had told us she would fix Mommy's car...she then asked for some batteries for it. Wish all things were that easy to fix:)

The second part of this video is Olivia singing one of her favorite songs of Cinderella (it's how she wakes up from many of her naps).

Fulfilling Requests

Here are the pictures of the inside of the house...

Baby's room...this picture shows the wrestling collage we hung in his room. It goes perfect with the sports theme and adds to the mouthgaurd:)

Hold the crust please!

Olivia has been eating cinnamon toast the past couple of mornings and even though she probably doesn't realize it, I think she has found a way of letting me know that she doesn't care for the crust.

Her 'mug' is a mess with her creative way of eating toast.

Hole-y Bread! This is Olivia's piece of toast just before she's finished with it.

And here is the 'avoiding crust' in action.

All of our moving supplies that Aaron hauled away! (Yes, I am keeping all my plastic totes:) I know, I know...you are probably all thinking, "just wait until the next move, when you'll have two kids!"

Olivia finally got to enjoy her little pool yesterday. The weather here has been on the cooler side and so she's had to wait for a warmer day.

Olivia is now always standing at the back sliding door, saying, "I need to go outside."

Getting settled

Yesterday, we bought Olivia her first big girl bed! It was fun getting to pick out the bedding and everything. Olivia was also excited to sleep on her Princess Belle pillowcase. When I went to check on her before going to bed, I saw that she ended up falling asleep with her head going the wrong way. I don't think she understands that the bedrail won't be as affective that way. Oh well!

Aaron finally got to take his camper top off his truck today. This is our new neighbor, Raul, helping him. Aaron was so excited to have this taken off.

We went to a cookout today with some friends we know from our old ward in Cincinnati. Olivia loved the pool they had.
