Leaving Atlanta & Such

Okay, we're here...in Cincinnati! We got here on Thursday afternoon and are doing good.
On Tuesday (31st) the movers came to pack our stuff and it was wonderful. We just stayed out of their way and hardly lifted a finger. Our things are supposed to be delivered this next Tuesday (the 6th) and so for now we are sleeping on an air mattress and sitting in camping chairs. We really like the house we are renting in Cincinnati so far. It's great to sit out on the back porch and let Olivia run around the back yard. Her favorite is to pick the white 'flowers' that grow in the grass (yes, the lawn needs to be mowed already).
The pictures are a collection for this past week and so they don't flow too good, but are still fun!

Robyn & I were able to go on one last walk around her neighborhood before we moved. The walks will most certainly be missed, but the company will be missed much more. I never would have gotten any exercise this pregnancy if it weren't for good friends!

On Saturday (the 27th) we went to Madison's #2 birthday party. Here is Olivia all summered up...even though she decided not to get wet. Thank you Savannah for the cute hat!

Madison was crazy for the water slide and the hose! She absolutely loved trying to get everyone wet (all the adults) with the hose.

Madison going down the water slide. Even though her face looks full of fear when she let go of the handle at the top of the slide, she was in heaven and was quick to go down the slide again and again.

The face is just too fun!

Olivia trying to get the hose from Madison...tug of war!

Olivia enjoying a yard to explore (Justin & Cheril's yard).

Here is Lincoln! He's quite the sucker as you can tell from the mark on his arm! I never knew a baby could suck that hard!

This is a picture that my dad took. Brandon biking over the Alpine loop for the first time this season. Even though it's been several years, I still miss those mountains! (and biking in them)

Camping at Shoal Creek

This last weekend we got to go camping with the Lunt Family! It was a great two days! Olivia always enjoys being outside all day! What kid doesn't? She even took a two hour nap in the tent on Saturday! It was so fun to hear the wind and rain on Saturday night! Our camping sites were great because even though it was supposed to be a very warm weekend, we got a nice cool breeze off the Lake (Lake Lanier) that made the nights bearable! My pregnant self had to break out the air mattress for the second night. Something that I despised doing on a camping trip, but it certainly made that night much better than the first.

Thank you to Cheril & Justin for finding the camp sites & to everyone else for the good cooking!

Olivia was excited to see her cousins on Friday night!

Papa dug small rocks from the sand for quite awhile on Saturday so that the little ones could have fun throwing them in the water. Braden is squatted down low here picking up his own boulder (he's such a boy...picks the ones that are just a bit too heavy to get off the ground).

Every time Olivia would throw a rock into the water she would turn to us and cheer for herself saying, "I did it!" Her throwing skills seemed to really improve while we were there. I only saw one or two rocks get thrown by her that landed BEHIND her.

Olivia enjoyed Bella and Savannah's company.

Cutie!

Aaron took this picture. The timing is good to catch Savannah right before she took a fall into the water.

Little Hannah was soaking up the rays. She borrowed Olivia's hat to prevent her head from getting a majority of them.

Kirk & baby Lincoln (in his swim trunks)

Even though Jason had to work all of Friday night, he still spend a lot of time in the water on Saturday. He's holding the rope to the raft.

Olivia sporting a very cute suit! (Thank you Bella & Savannah). Can you believe it's a 4T?

Florida with my parents

We got back on Sunday evening after being in Floriday for five days with my parents. I feel like we got to do a lot of things and it was all a lot of fun, but it's always nice to be home. This posting has lots of pictures!!

On Tuesday night, we stopped in Orlando to visit my first college roommate - Katie Meadows! I haven't seen her in several years! Katie has gotten even skinnier since college and I've gotten even fatter (for a good reason though, right?)!

Olivia loved playing with Katie's step-daughter, Kendra!

Olivia had to take cat naps in the car for those five days!

Wednesday (May 10th) we headed out to Key West! Olivia loved playing on the luggage cart. She called it her train.

After a long, but neat drive, we arrived in Key West! This is Olivia's first time at the beach! You could say it's mine too (unless you count Oregon). It was wonderful!!!

We didn't have time to put on the swim suits, but enjoyed wading our feet and the beautiful sandy beach!

I guess my dad didn't want to shed his shoes and socks!

I don't think Olivia wanted to leave!

What a great picture!

My first taste of Florida & I loved it!

Here is Olivia on the 'train' again! On Thursday we went to the Seaquarium in Miami (Key Biscayne).

Olivia loved the Flipper show & the Killer whale show!

Checking out all the fish in the coral reef.

While we were there, Olivia caught this shark...

haha!

Olivia did more pushing her stroller around than actually riding in it.

Amazed at the dolphin show.

Feeding the fish at the seaquarium.

Lots of cool species!

This one was eating the spilled fish food...Olivia was scared to get too close.

The seaquarium wore Olivia out. This is how she took many naps. She had to hold my hand and her baby doll's hand with her sippy cup in her mouth. Hey, when you are on vacation, the sippy cup can stay in the mouth if it helps!

My dad served part of his mission in Miami! While we were there, we found this church building that he went to.

On Friday we went to the Everglades National Park.

Lots of cool animals there too.

Olivia didn't want anything to do with the colorful grasshopper. Especially after it spit juice on her stroller, yuck!

We saw a lot of alligators!

Aaron in the Everglades.

Saturday we went to the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral. Olivia's obsession with stairs hasn't ended. She found some with a ramp to come back down.

Olivia playing in the fountain with Grandma Johnson.

My dad at the Space Center

We went on a bus tour of Cape Canaveral. Olivia's favorite part of this was her thinking she was on a school bus. She said she had to go to school and write her name.

Part of the tour. I had to sit down and rest a bit.

Olivia slept right through the Saturn 5 rocket exhibit on her daddy's shoulder!

How sweet!

When we got out of the Space Center on Saturday evening, our tire was too flat to drive on. The service guys got it filled up before Aaron switched it out for the spare though. Avis got us an even better van the next day:)

We had a great vacation in Florida! Thank you Mom & Dad!
