Happy Birthday to Carter!
It's always crazy to see how much they have grown in a year.
Olivia is very excited to show off the cupcakes she helped make for Carter's birthday.
We could have forgone the presents that actually cost more than $1 and just gotten a few more balloons. (The one sock is because he has a burn on his foot - trying to keep it covered. Oh, and if I put two socks on, he slips and falls on the wood floors.)
Carter loves his new yellow soccer ball from Grammy & Papa (they flew all the way up from Atlanta for the occasion). Carter is also excited to try on his new shoes. He's always trying to put on ours.
Olivia thinks she helped Carter blow out his candle (but in fact, neither one of my kiddies can blow out a candle).

After he smashed his cupcake all up (I think he took a few little bites), he was ready for bed.
But wait! There's icecream? Oh, that's worth staying up for!
Carter in his "new" (hand-me-down) carseat. He grinned the whole way to church because he could face forward.

Yummy, those cupcakes look soo good. I'm so glad you guys could celebrate w/ family and have such a fun time. You better watch out both of your kids are going to be head turners-they are soo cute! :]
I've been thinking about you guys and remembering just how LONG your July was last year and how I couldn't believe you didn't have Carter till August! Wow, how exciting its been a whole year though.
Oh and I'm really sorry about the airshow. I had no idea about that crash. I'm glad you still managed to have a nice time. Those are pretty cool things to go too. Keep enjoying your summer and all of that delicious ice cream!!!!!

Yah! Happy Birthday Carter! I can't believe he is 1 already, he is such a little stud! The picture of him in his new carseat is super adorable! Actually, I think that picture of him with his face in the bowl is pretty cute too!
Wow, a whole year has already gone by?!? He is a cute, cute boy and I'm so glad you guys had extra family in town to join in the celebration. And props to Olivia for the baking and candle blowing help. She's one heck of a big sister!
