My big girl!

How DOES this happen so quickly?

A few hours old. (And probably the last time I painted my nails.)

1-year-old

2-years-old

3!

******************************************************
Yep! That's right! Olivia turned FOUR years old on Monday!
We're still able to get away with small celebrations.

Who knows how much longer that will last though?

It's hard having a birthday girl three weeks after Christmas.
The scooter will have to be ridden inside until it warms up out there.

Olivia could possibly have three sets of grandparents. haha

We celebrated with our neighbors (Gary & Vanessa) and she got spoiled.

This cake is a bit embarrasing after seeing the work of some friends.

When I heard about the "Candy Land" cake, I thought, "sure, I can frost and put candy on a cake." But I now take that back.

OH WELL.

Olivia liked it and that is all that really matters.

Maybe on her 5th birthday she'll get the candles blown out on her own?

She really tried hard though!

Happy Birthday my sweet girl!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY OLIVIA!!! What a cute cake Shayleen. Looks like Olivia had a fun birthday. Wish we could have been there. Olivia is such a beautiful little girl! She reminds me of her mom when she was little. Thanks for sharing the birthday pictures.

Look at that smile...Looks like she had an amazing birthday!
And Shayleen, I guessed what your cake was supposed to be before I read the line after the pic. So you did a great job. I have never heard of that idea. I love it!
And those eyelashes...she even had them when she was born...great genes there! :D

It was evident by talking to Olivia on the phone Sunday night following the birthday celebration with Gary and Vanessa that she was waayyyyy EXCITED! She was bouncing off the walls! The pictures also reflect that! I'm so glad she had a fun birthday!

We're glad that she has friends (Gary and Vanessa) that like our little princess, too! What's not to love? :-) Especially since Kirk and I (Grammy and Papa) and Launa and Steve (Grandma and Grandpa Johnson) can't always be there for those special occasions!

Great job on the cake Shayleen. I think it's really cute! Glad she had a good birthday.

She has always reminded me of a "Little Precious Moments" girl. Anyone else agree?

Love,

I think the cake is great! If I was four I would probably only want to eat candy and cake, and you covered that...I love it!

She's so cute! I love all of the pictures. The cake is really good! I'm glad she had a good birthday.

PS it's really odd seeing my 9th grade math teacher sitting on your couch...I guess everyone has to have friends though, even 9th grade math teachers!

Four already?! Wow, that's amazing. And Shayleen, what a cute cake! That is totally creative and so neat. You should totally give yourself props!

PS-Sorry it takes me so long to check/comment on your blog! Since it's private, it doesn't show up on my bloglines when it's updated. Better late than never, right?!? :-)
