We had a good Easter holiday. We started last Sunday by coloring Easter eggs:
You'll notice that this is only the beginning of Carter's "cheesy" face. He now "cheeses up" anytime a camera is pointing at him.
While we let the eggs brighten, we enjoyed Oreo's and milk...Carter's first time with Oreo's. I'm not sure if he liked them...ha!
Yup, good and bright!
One of the few times Olivia and Carter played good together this week. It only lasted for five miliseconds though.
Yesterday we enjoyed a great Easter egg hunt (more of an egg gathering...you could have laid a basket on the ground, dragged it a few feet and scooped up a lot of eggs)! Over 1000 eggs and around 30 kids! Olivia would pick up one egg, open it and ask if she could eat that piece of candy before moving on to pick up another egg. I had to give her a quick explanation on how it all works and then she understood that if she waited to eat the candy, there would be a lot more to eat.
And Carter? Well, he enjoyed picking up sticks!

What a fun Easter, that egg hunt sounds like fun! Your kids are so adorable...and I love the Carter "cheese". Kaylie does something like that, but you end up with her head tilted on her shoulder and you can't see her face.
It looks like you guys had a good easter. Your eggs turned out well. I think carter's cheesy face is funny. You looked cute in the one pic of you.

Hi Shayleen! So it appears you were having your children climb up on the roof to find eggs also? You ran out of room on the grass for those 1000 eggs! :) Sounds like a fun week!

Oh so cute! Everything about this post is adorable. It was very needed at the end of a long day. Carter's cheesy smiles are to die for. And I understand how a little boy would be more interested in sticks than in eggs.
But I'm with Olivia...candy all the way!

Fabulous! The photos are ALL so cute and adorable. You all look fabulous and so darn cute, pretty, and handsome. I love Carter's smile too-why do kids start doing that? Its so funny though. I'm glad you all had such a fun and good Easter. I loved the eggs too. Oh and that is so cute too about Olivia and the candy and Carter and sticks-so true. I hope they keep getting along and that you all keep having so much fun!
