I'm sorry about this! I really don't want to lose any readers, but I feel the need to protect our privacy from crazy people in the world!
Okay - now for the fun family stuff!
I have been horrible at taking pictures the past couple of weeks. I have found myself saying, "I should get the camera out and take pictures of this," a lot, but just been too lazy to actually do it. Carter has lots of smiles for us lately and Olivia is adjusting to the fact that he is going to cry sometimes. The first few times we actually had to let him cry (because we couldn't get to him right away), resulted in tears streaming down Olivia's face. I know, she's my daughter!
I have some videos, but it will probably take me a few days (or weeks) to get those up.
For now, enjoy the pictures -

$3 worth of "new" backyard toys
Glad I waited (like Aaron wanted me to) to get Olivia a bike.
The other toy that made my total $3!! I know, I can hardly believe it myself!
Carter likes the princess bed too...he zonked out while I was busy with Olivia.
Desperate for a walk yesterday, I gave in (BIG TIME) and let Olivia wear her princess 'dress' (remember, it's actually a night gown) and glass slippers around the neighborhood. She had a cute little patriotic outfit on underneath it all. It was a very rough day yesterday and it wasn't all because of the tears I shed remembering the day 5 years ago. Olivia shed MANY tears because she hates to hear Carter cry...that made two crying children for much of the day. Ahhhh!
My little guy smiles so much already! It's absolutely adorable! This day seems to be going MUCH better!
Another zonk out. I had put him down for some tummy time and checked on him a few minutes later to find this! I don't know what is up with the thumb...I am a paci pusher! (Only because I think it's easier to wean a child of a paci than a thumb.)

As Sisters in Ohio, Utah and Georgia, we'll all work together!
I was lucky enough to have my two sisters, Shonte' & Shellee, visit this past weekend. They made a pit stop in Ohio as Shellee was moving from Utah to Georgia (again). It's always sad to see them go, but SO happy they could come and stay with us. Shonte' flew back to Utah on Wednesday morning and Shellee just left today for the rest of the drive to Georgia. And yes, she made it safely to her new apartment in Dunwoody! I got lots done while they were here to help me watch kids!
Olivia 'prepared' a donut and pizza for her and Shonte' to enjoy on the back porch.
playing again with Shonte'
and again!
Every mode of transportation is bigger now.
Not only did I become a minivan mom, but I also inherited a double stroller (our second double stroller - but the back seat lays back on this one and so Carter can use it until he is able to sit up). It has been wonderful to get back out on my walks. As long as Carter is fed and changed, he seems to really enjoy the walks...falling asleep during most of them. Olivia has always enjoyed our walks. She sang her way through the neighborhood today.
